Her na...%u201dThe entrance to the tent suddenly opened.Luke and Max looked up, startled to see two people standing there in uniforms with some side arms at their waist. One of them smiled and said, %u201cLuke? Good. We came to take you back. Who is that?%u201dThe person pointed at Max.Luke shot the two of them with the weapon which discharged as flashes of light twice as he aimed and pressed the trigger. He watched the two men disappear, reduced to dust in an instant.Luke turned to Max. %u201cGo now. I%u2019ll destroy their vehicle. But I%u2019ll wait until you go in case destroying it creates a deeper time-well that you can%u2019t escape.%u201dThey shook hands. Luke waited a small distance away as Max destroyed the shelter and went to his vehicle. He looked on as the vehicle was uncloaked and Max got in after waving to him.The time machine powered up and vanished. Luke walked to where he suspected the time machine carrying the two men he just killed would likely be. It would automatically scan his biometrics and recognise him. It did and uncloaked. Luke aimed the weapon in his hand at it and was about to destroy it when he changed his mind. Instead he went into it and checked its design. It was familiar to him. He reprogrammed it so it would cloak and not respond to, or transmit, any signals. He engineered it to stay cloaked and only to uncloak if someone with his genetic biometrics was within three feet of it, uttered the words %u2019I love Kelly%u2019 and scanned only then for biometrics. He got out and watched as it cloaked, going invisible.The Time Traveller
