We haven%u2019t seen much of her these last few months,%u201d Diana asked. %u201cI%u2019m Diana, and this is Dennis.%u201d%u201cShe hasn%u2019t been very well for awhile, but she%u2019s perked up a lot since I came and said prayers with her. In fact, she%u2019s holding a celebration party tonight to thank the lord for bringing her back to full health. I think she would love it very much if you two came. I know she%u2019s very fond of you both.%u201d%u201cThank you. That%u2019s kind, but wont it be full of older people?%u201d Dennis said.%u201cNot if you bring along a few young friends. She%u2019s footing the bill for all the drink, so no-one under the age of eighteen,%u201d Nancy said. Diana looked at Dennis. %u201cI can bring four people. What about you?%u201d%u201cSure. The same. Okay, that%u2019s great. Haven%u2019t been to a proper party for ages. What shall we wear?%u201d he said.%u201cI guess whatever you%u2019d wear to go night-clubbing,%u201d Nancy replied. %u201cIt%u2019ll kick off about seven-thirty to eight and I suspect will be an allnighter.%u201d%u201cBrill,%u201d said Diana. %u201cDoes she want us to clean out the stable straw bedding, and feed Henry?%u201d%u201cYes, please. She%u2019s getting dressed. I%u2019ll get her to come over and see you after breakfast.%u201d Nancy told them.The two of them walked off smiling and chatting excitedly about what they will wear to the party.Nancy returned to the Kitchen as she heard the Dean talking with Hazel and Gideon in there. When she went in, Hazel said, %u201cNancy. Would you like a boiled egg and toast?%u201d%u201cThat would be lovely. Thank you,%u201d she replied. %u201cDiana and Dennis seem like two fresh faces. She%u2019s very pretty and I thought he was a handsome, fit young man.%u201dHazel served up the boiled eggs. Butter, toast, coffee, plates, cutlery and cups were already on the table.
