ABOUT THE RAGGED-RAG

Introduction
The online newspaper is a novel approach at attempting to bring real world and home news to western viewers. The Editor, me, became disillusioned by UK's main news presenter, the BBC, who appear to just buy their news from Reuters. I will say on their behalf, they often do exceptional work, but what I noticed is no 'where the dangerous action is' on-the-spot journalism; the Ukraine front line, for example. I thought by intercepting news reports from different sources around the internet, I might be able to provide greater insights into what's going on.

Copyright
Yes, this could be a bit of an issue. From Issue 6 onwards, my tactics changed to try and avoid claims of copyright infringement. See below.

Methods Used
We find news articles, rewrite them, capturing the salient facts, and then publish our article, citing where possible where the original article was sourced from.

Images are downloaded and then we use A.I. software to reproduce an original image based on the copyright original we used as reference. This new image is a faithful representation of the original but not a copy.

Videos are captured via youtube, sometimes translated into English or indeed a variety of languages, normally from other countries publishing their news channel on youtube.
